Six of Crows by Hope Carrion , 804

In the book "Six of Crows" by Leigh Bardugo. The books explore the idea of how working together is better than working by your self. It helps show how becoming friends and working together. Can help get the job done quicker .

One piece of evidence that shows how teamwork help the characters grow together. Is when Ineq had died . They all had too work to together to figure out a way still to get to the jail and deliver the drug. For the money. This shows how the characters were able to from together to travel to the jail. Without arguing or causing  tension between each other . In addition were able to work together as a team even with missing one of a important figures in the group.

Another piece of evidence that explores the theme of teamwork in the book is when they all had been traveling for about 2-3 days . And they all felt like they were about die. The all stuck together as one and never gave up. Until they were finally at the jail. This shows they all trusted each other . All the characters formed together as if they all were one . It shows teamwork and also friendship.

In conclusion this relates to the real world because many people feel that there better off being by herself. Even though if they tried to work with other people they may be able to do more than one thing at a time.

People can relate to the book "Out Of My Mind" by Sharon M. Draper because it's talks about how people are judge and are consider dumb cause of how they look . Also since Melody doesn't walk or talk like a normal person she is consider dumb.

One example that shows that people think Melody is dumb cause she has a wheelchair is on page 177 " she can't be on the team , I hear Claire whisper to Jessica , wrinkling up her nose she's from the retard room!" This shows Claire /people don't believe she smart because of the class she from. Also just how she looks period and the people she talks to make her seem mad.

In addition Melody almost wasn't allowed to audition for  the quiz  team because her teacher didn't know if she was smart .  Thus this puts Melody in a weird situation .  Can you imagine your teacher in directly saying you can't try out because you may fail because I don't believe your that smart. That just sad.

In conclusion there should not be a sterotype of if you don't look or talk like a normal person you are dumb . This relate to Melody because can't even take a test without someone thinking she slow . Or just someone saying something bad about her or laughing at her cause she drooling. This is not right or fair.

The Help blog post by Hope Carrion

People can relate to the book The Help by Kathery Stockeet because it talks about black people rights interns of safety and protection. Also how black people have no rights. And also that all blacks are treated the same.

One example of black people rights are not important in terms of safety and protection. Is when Abileen  and Minny  first decide to write the book they were very scared because it was a possible chance that they would get fired, because they were talking about there real jobs not fake ones.

I think that just because Aibileen  and Minny were black and they finally spoke the truth about the help point of view about raising white kids is probably one of the reason they lose there job. Also because during this time perood this was against the law.

Another piece of evidence that shows black people have no rights is when Aibileen son was ran over. Just because he was black instead of someone taking her son to the hospital they threw  him in a ditch.

I think if that would of been a white boy they would of took him straight to the hospital and make sure to contact the family ASAP.

In addition a piece of evidence that shows black people can feel skeptical  about the  action they make was when Minny wasn't in any agreement with the book at first because she knew that  if anyone found out that it was her, she would never be able to get a job helping white children again.

I think Minny wouldn't have to worry this much if black people were allowed to talk about there feelings and actions just like everyone else can. There shouldn't be no differences.

This relates to real life / my life because many people have felt like they been treated different from another person not just in terms of skin color. Also I been skeptical to the things I do in my life because I don't know what the outcome of my actions will be good or bad.

The Issue Of Love Reading Response by Hope Carrion

Has it ever been a problem with who you dated because there a different skin tone? Well in the book If You Come Sofly by Jacqueline Woodson this is a major issue. This book is about a white girl named Ellie who likes this boy named Jeremiah , but since Jermiah is black this began to cause problem between her and her best friend , because Ellie doesn't know if her best friend can agree with her discussion without judging her. Teenagers can relate to this book because many teenagers can feel judge or unsure about things in life , and not knowing if there friends would agree with them.

When Ellie told her best friend that she likes blacks boys. It help the reader see that Ellie is standing up and telling the truth about her feelings for Jermiah , and that she doesn't care about  what her best friend thinks about her actions. One piece of evidence to support my claim would be when Ellie was worried about if her best friend would except the fact that she likes black boys. So this means Ellie c'ant even trust her best friend because she believes her best friend is so scared of black people that might do something to harm Ellie relationship with Jermiah.

Another emotion Ellie also feels is insecure because if you c'ant trust your best friend , then you c'ant trust anyone. If your best friend was judging you then most likely the situation can get worse ,and then this would also make Ellie feel insecure about her feelings for Jermiah or anything in life.

In addition , another emotion Ellie feels is being skeptical , because Ellie best friend was scared cause when a black guy was running up to her. Her best friend began to jump up and down , because she thought he going to rob her bestfriend. Then Ellie just thinking what's going to happend if Jermiah comes to meet up with Ellie in the park. Will her best friend be scared or act normal?

This connects to my life  or real life , because many people are worried about what people or  what there friends thinks, about the action they do or discussion they make. And most people don't have the guts to say something to these people, because they don't know how they would act, or even still be there friend after making these discussion.

My history of reading By Hope Carrion

Hi, my name Hope. Some of my favorite genre that i like to read are romance , biography , dramas , dystopian and Utopian. Some of my favorite authors are John Green , Rainbow Rowell , Lauren Oliver. Some of my all time favorite books are The Fault In Are Stars , Before I Fall , Eleanor And Park, If I Stay , Speak .
My  favorite book is Eleanor And Park by Rainbow Rowell. The book Eleanor And Park is about to different people one name Eleanor one name park. Eleanor is very shy and is very poor her and mother , brother , sisters are being emotionally and physically abuse at home by Eleanor step dad and the others dad . Eleanor has been through a lot in her life she been homeless cause she was kick out her house because her step didn't want to take her in  and has ran away from home more than once.  While park on the other hand lives the greatest life  compared to Eleanor.
Park lives in a home with his mom and dad in a rich neighborhood . While park only troubles is that he can get bullied for being Asian . People some learn to not play with Park after he get into a fight . But some how these two people meet and bond over comic books and music. But when the book goes on troubles being to happen in Eleanor home , the book some comes to end after Eleanor moves away.

Another one of my favorite books is Sold which is about this Indian girl who moves to another country so that she can have a job to pay off her family depth back in her village . The reason I like this book is because it talk about a issue I never even knew about until I read the book . I believe sold is strong book to read because it talk about serious topic that could and maybe just help some people to think before they decide to do things they know they shouldn't  do .

In terms of reading I'm not big on it . It something I would do but it's something I love too do . Reading to me can be a challenge because it can be very hard for me to stay entertain by my book because  most of the beginning of every book I read usually can be a little draining so I  being to loose focus in the book but most of the time it's get better towards the middle because that majority when the climax comes in so this where the dramatic parks starts or the issues. For the most part most books I read usually a good for me .
